Let us respond to this call and for an hour (8:30PM-9:30PM) on Saturday, 25th of March turn off the lights and electrical devices to show our support for curbing climate changes and protecting our planet – Earth!

This year is the 10th anniversary of the „Earth Hour“, an event by which World Wide Fund For Nature Protection (WWF) provides and incentive to remind us that we bear the responsibility for the preservation of the natural resources and beauty of our immediate environment as well as the Earth. On the last Satruday in March, which this year occurs on 25th of March, it is expected that more than 178 countries all over the globe will join in with turning off the public lighting of major sights and squares in Paris, London, Sydney and other major centers.

Therefore, let us join Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Pula, Biorad na moru and other Croatian cities and towns and think hard tonight about which additional steps we can take, e.g. ration our water and energy consnumption, properly manage waste etc. to preserve our environment and happily continue to enjoy it.
